Dolphin Market

Currently the 2nd largest grocery store on the island, Dolphin is located just off the circle (our rotary) in Cruz Bay. They have a large produce selection and some hard-to-find items that might not be at Starfish Market or St. John Market. Pickup first-night provisions on the way to the villa, a few cold beers for the trip to the beach, or some frozen items for preparing a meal for the group at Great Expectations.

Starfish Market

Starfish Market is the largest physical grocery store on the island with a full deli counter, liquor department, fresh produce and large dairy and frozen food sections. It is located on the first floor of the Marketplace just outside of Cruz Bay on the south shore road. Most of our guests stop here

Pine Peace Market

Pine Peace is truly the “locals” store. They’ve got a lot of stuff packed into some tall shelved aisles, and they are open late. You can find liquor, beer, drinks, bathroom needs, cleaning supplies, air conditioner freon kits (no kidding), and a lot of other things here.

Christy's of St. John

Whether you need rental equipment for children (and adults), or want to have the villa provisioned before you arrive, Christy and her team can help you make your check-in day that much easier.

They charge a small delivery fee ($10), a 20% handling fee, and request you pre-pay 14 days prior to your arrival.

Call Lorenzo Delivery

Call Lorenzo’s is a great pickup, delivery & provisioning service on St. John. You can pre-arrange to have the villa kitchen stocked with food & drinks, order takeout from a restaurant and have it delivered to Great Expections or have Lorenzo run an errand for you.

Love City Market

Located in the center of Coral Bay, Love City Market is a very well-stocked grocery store. They also have some unique food & drink items not available elsewhere on St. John.

St. John Market

Just over Jacob’s Ladder and around the corner from the Westin Resort, St. John Market is the closest grocery store & deli to Great Expectations. They have an excellent assortment of beer, wine, and liquor, as well as fresh produce, meats, dairy, groceries and frozen items.

Calabash Market

The ‘last’ grocery store when leaving Coral Bay to head to the far south east shore. Calabash has a nice selection of food, drinks, and groceries. A prefect stop to load up the cooler when headed out to the far out beaches like Salt Pond, Grootpan, and Great & Little Lameshur beaches.
