Ocean Runner is sort of a sister company to Low Key Watersports that works out of the same office on the waterfront in Cruz Bay, just behind DR!NK bar. Ocean Runner has a 35’ Scarab and multiple Contender power boats available for captained day charters for 10-12, as well as 3 x 15’ Boston Whalers that fit 4 people. Hire a captained charter to take you and your group all around the British and/or US Virgin Islands for a day or get a smaller Whaler to tool around St. John’s North Shore beaches with 3 others.

Nate & Mehan Fletcher’s charter company has 2 boats to motor you around the islands: a 27’ Glacier Bay power cat and a 37’ Midnight Express. The Midnight Express can fit up to 10 guests and, with it’s 3 x 300HP outboards, she can take you just about anywhere in record time.

Island Flyer Catamaran

New owners (since hurricanes of 2017) Jay & Kimberly provide full day power catamaran charters for up to 12 guests for USVI and BVI day trips. They can pick guests up in Red Hook, St. Thomas or Cruz Bay’s National Parks dock on St. John and take you cruising around the islands.

Soulshine Charters

We have personally chartered Soulshine’s 44’ Lagoon catamaran 3 times for 3-5 night trips around the Virgins and have nothing but great things to say about Captain Jim & first mate Megan and the service they provide while up to 3 couples (6 guests) stay with them. They typically provide 2 out of 3 meals a day and all beverages. Depending of course on conditions, you could sail to Anegada for a night or 2, St. Croix, around the BVI, USVI or even over to Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques.

Soulshine also does day charters around the USVI and BVI for up to 12 guests.

Born to Rhumb

Born to Rhumb Charters is St John’s most popular U.S. Coast Guard Inspected power vessel which offers exclusively private day trips for groups up to 15 passengers. Since the trip will be exclusively yours, you get to determine where to go and what to see! They can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers in the British Virgin Island waters and 15 passengers in US Virgin Island waters. You will not pay extra for a private excursion as we are priced per person with rates equaling the other charters that do mixed groups.

All of their trips include: our famous bottomless cooler stocked with 5 types of beers, painkillers, soda and water; SiriusXM satellite radio, stereo with cell phone connection to play your music, top of the line adult and child size snorkel gear; child and adult size life jackets; noodles for floating; swim platform; ladder for water entry on boat; canopy for rain/sun protection; freshwater rinse hose; and cabin with toilet.
