Come on down to where we have summer 12 months a year!
We all know that it never snows on St John and the only ice one ever sees is in your drinking glass, however, many do not know that during the summer months often it is actually cooler on St John than in mainland USA where it can easily reach 100 degrees (as it has recently even in southern California).

Ah, welcome to the land of the endless summer...

Francis Bay, one of over 30 fabulous beaches around St John

Trunk Bay Free April 22 - April 26 in Celebration of National Parks Week

No admissions charge for Trunk Bay in recognition of National Parks Week

Not that $4 is a lot of money, but if you are going to the beach with your family or friends the admissions fee can add up quickly!  That is why we are delighted that the National Park Service has declared that its entrance fees will be waived for the entire week.
Grab your swimsuit, towel, snorkel gear and head on over to Trunk Bay! The weather this week is supposed to be perfect for the beach.

Come to St John to cool off! Yes, that is right...

Strange isn't it! To think that you might want to go the the Virgin Islands this summer to cool down!  The truth is that the weather on St John is pretty consistent year round.  We average ~ 85 degrees winter or summer!  Sure, it is a bit more humid during the summer months, but rarely does the temperature ever hit 90 degrees like being experienced across the US today!
As we enter month #2 of Hurricane season the Caribbean skies (and waters) seem OK for now but we are keeping our eyes peeled to the east to watch out for tropical waves that might, and inevitably will, come off of the African coast.  In the meantime, we are off to the beach!

Which one of these pictures is different?

Remember those child picture 'problems' of 'which one of the following does not belong in the group?' (e.g. with pictures such as of hummingbirds, parrots, eagles, and a parrot fish)....Well, if you go to the www.Weather.com, put in your city, any other USA mainland city, and that of St John (USVI, of course...not St John, Nova Scotia, Canada!), I bet it is St John that pops out at you! 83 degrees and sunny just about any day of the week, just about any month of the year! Doesn't that sound refreshing!
Here is a chart showing the Virgin Islands temperature (high, low, and average) over a 30 year period. Doesn't that yellow line (average temperature) look sweet and pretty stuck about 85 degrees.
Come on down, we on St John are always ready to warm your soul!

SNOW....Say it ain't so!

Yikes! Well, no worries 'mon that is if you be on St John...but, if you are in the northeastern US watch out and while you are stuck inside during the storm looking for things to do why not plan your next trip to St John where it is summer 12 months a year! As an incentive, here is today's forecast on St John:
