For reservations of 7 days or more utilizing up to 7 bedrooms, we offer a few special discounts in winter when the reservation is made directly with us. Rather than paying a referral/travel agent fee, we are able to pass the savings on to you! One discount per reservation with a minimum stay of 7 nights and excluding all the holiday weeks of Christmas, New Year’s, President’s Week, Easter, the 4th of July (St John Carnival), Thanksgiving, and any use of our Owner’s Apartment.

10th Night @ ½ Price
St. John is not an easy place to get from just about everywhere “up north.” While we have always focused on Saturday to Saturday 7-night stays, we’ve noticed the groups that stay longer are much more relaxed, and it often gives us a day here and there to attended to upgrade or repair something. To promote longer stays, we’re offering any standard non-holiday stay of 10 days or more, the 10th night at ½ price. In summer, this equates to between $400 and $760. In winter, staying longer can save you between $670 and $1030!

Grandparents Stay FREE in Winter
We offer a free room to grandparents in winter when accompanied by their kids and grandkids. One discount per reservation. One week minimum stay. Minimum six (6) room usage. Discount equal to the incremental cost of one standard bedroom.

Wedding Couple Stay FREE in Winter
St John is one of the most wonderful places in the world to get married. Great Expectations is the perfect place to stay for a small or large wedding party, or maybe the family of the couple. Book your wedding stay at Great Expectations from Dec 15 - April 30th and the newlywed couple stays FREE. One discount per reservation. One week minimum stay. Minimum six (6) room usage. Discount equal to incremental cost of one standard bedroom.
Active US Military 10% off
Any group with an active US Military member in one of the five branches - Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy - can request 10% off any stay of 7 nights or more. One discount per reservation.
